Extraordinary Friday-Halaveshia Hall

7:32:00 AM

Extraordinary Friday is where I spotlight women doing awesome things in the community. I want to highlight ordinary women achievements to encourage women to extraordinary women. They can be teachers, business owners, or volunteers.

Today's ExtraOrdinary Woman is an example of why I chose to do this segment on Friday's.  She had the guts and the faith to change her situation around for the better.  She has blog which full of wisdom and cute antedotes.  I love reading it. She is always uplifting and encouraging. I very proud and honored to feature her today.

Make sure you follow her blog http://www.kaidysface.com/

Let’s meet our *Extraordinary Woman*…

Questions: What makes you an Extraordinary Woman?

I am an ExtraOrdinary woman because I "know" that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. There is a big difference when you know it than when others tell you or you read it in the bible!

Tell me more about your organization/business?

Kaidy's Face at this time is an internet website/blog that was originally designed to help any female find that woman inside of her that God designed her to be! Through encouraging words and just sharing my personal life journey's and testimonies to prove to them that there is a better way.

How is your business/organization impacting women’s lives?

Several days a week I get emails from women advising me that they are literally finding themselves through my words. the biggest accomplishment to me thus far though was when a 'male' told me that my blog inspired him and caused him to question the way he was treating his significant other.

What made you step out on Faith? What was your aha moment?

I decided to step out on Faith after seeing so many of my peers (females) struggling with domestic violence situations (some publicly and some discretely) There was gossip going on about them as if they were crazy to be putting up with certain things. I wanted to come out to show that it could happen to anyone and that it's easier to look from the outside and think that a person can just walk away. But beyond telling that it can happen I wanted females to can self-respect and know tactics of how to get out if they wanted too or just begin to better themselves in general.

What motivates you or drives you especially when things get a little hectic?

The fact that I know someone is out there waiting on a word from me or waiting on some inspiration in-spite of my hectic day-->pushes me to keep something for the people to read. The emails and text that I receive on a daily basis of how I helped someone or their friend inspires me to go on in-spite of what I may have going on.

In Ephesians 3:20 it states, “God will do exceedingly and abundantly above anything that you can ask or imagine according to the power that is at work within you.”How does this passage apply to you?

This passage applies to me in my everyday walk. Because I know that I am floating on this earth simply by the grace of God he proves to me daily that he exceeds all of my expectations. Because I know that when I look at my life in the natural eyes I should have been gone a long time ago but I am still here-->He has so exceeded my expectations. When I look at my children and I see how they have everything they need/want/and merely think about-->He has so exceeded all of my expectations!!! Because I know that there is something on the inside that is bigger than I can ever imagine and that force drives me daily-->He has so exceeded all my expectation-->ok I am preaching now!! lol

What obstacles have you had to overcome? How did you overcome them?

The biggest obstacle I had to overcome was the disease called "people"! I used to always live my life stricken by thoughts of how others would feel about decisions I make. I was contaminated with other people's opinions of "my" life. Once I asked God to create in me a "clean" heart he renewed my heart and mind. I learned to respect people’s feelings but disregard their opinions of me. I begin to live life as I thought it would make GOD happy not people and I overcame!!! I am still overcoming.

Extraordinary women usually live very busy lives, how do you handle success? What do you do as your stress reliever? What do you do in your spare time? What is your favorite weekend getaway spot?

I love Callaway Gardens as a stress reliever get-a-way spot. I am super busy with my full time job/online school/three children...I handle it all through constant prayer and I set daily goals with no strings attached meaning if I get it done I get it done and if I don't I don't. And I work only what's on my goal list for the day w/o extra so that I will not be overly stressed. In my spare time I read and sleep a lot!!!

What are your tried and true sho’nuff steps to success?

Step 1: Forgive Step 2: Forgive Step 3: Forgive

Repeat all 3 steps throughout your journey to make room for all your blessings!!!!

What is your legacy?

The legacy I would like to leave is the memory of being a genuine writer/visionary, true and from the heart type of person, never ashamed of my failures, because my battles will lead to blessing for others!

Ways to contact you or where to find your product? How to get involve with your organization?

The purpose of my blog is to encourage women to step out of their comfort zone and do something extraordinary. Whether it is volunteering, writing a book, starting a band, or reading to the elderly, I want to encourage women to be Extraordinary. To live their best life yet! What are some parting words of wisdom or nuggets of knowledge you want to leave with my readers?

Do not be afraid to try something new!! Step out on faith and know that where God guides he will provide!! Yo have to be willing to get outside of your comfort zones..when you open your mind the rest will follow!!!!!!! And always always remember to forgive forgive forgive and forgetting will come naturally!!!
