Be Motivational Not Messy 3 Positive Ways To Use Your Platform!

Now, I love some good tea! I will be the first to admit I do have my favorite gossip blogs which I love to read, but too much tea is not good for my spirit. When deciding the niche for my blog, I realize I am not an avid tea drinker. A gossip blog was out! My goals with my blog are to teach, inspire and create. I strive to provide great content which my readers can apply to their lives.

As a blogger, writer, and shepreneur, I understand that I have a responsibility to use my platform wisely. I know my readers who are aspiring to become bloggers themselves who look to me to influence them with positive and good vibes. With all the success of gossip blogs, the urge to duplicate their platform is very tempting. I even tried it for a while. The numbers are great, but it was not a vibrational match for me. I am an optimistic person. All that gossip puts a damper on my parade. If you are like me and love to write, you need to find a way for your platform to be Motivational & Not Messy!

Here are my three tips to be more Motivational on your platform:

  1. Make sure you’re motivating, encouraging, and uplifting others. It is important to share your light. When we share our light with others, we help them overcome obstacles and influence them to help others.

  2. Try not gossip. We all love good tea, but as I stated early too much can be damaging to your spirit. It can be harmful to your audience, and it is not always a good look! Remember the message you want to convey to your audience, and stick with that. What we put out into the universe, comes back to us. Make sure you keep it positive!

  3. Be Yourself. People are looking for authentic people. Ask yourself this one question, “If my readers met me in the streets, who would they meet?” It is easy to be someone else when sitting behind the computer screen, but who are you when not sitting behind the desk? Personally, I want the same person you connect with through writing to be the same person you would meet on the street.

*People need to hear your voice, and your tribe will connect to you*

There are many more ways to be Motivational. What are some other ways you keep your platform Motivational and Not Messy?
